HB Fliesen GmbH, Fuchsberger GmbH and Fliesen Wurm GmbH merge to form the hfw-group

Growing together: The renowned tiling companies HB Fliesen GmbH, Fuchsberger GmbH and Fliesen Wurm GmbH have been pooling their expertise under the umbrella of the newly founded hfw-group since January 2021. The companies, which are headquartered in Upper Austria, Lower Austria and Styria, will continue to operate independently. The aim of the joint holding company is, among other things, to position itself as an attractive employer and to increase quality and continuity through digital processes.

The partnership's guiding principle "better together" reflects the driving force behind the collaboration: the thoroughbred entrepreneurs Reinhard Hirtl, Franz Fuchsberger and Andreas Wurm not only want to develop their passion for the demanding and traditional craft together, but above all pass it on to the youngest members of the labour market. The aim is to promote belief in the trade and the importance of training in tiling. The aim of the merger is to achieve synergies in joint training and employee development. At the same time, it will set the course for positioning the company as an attractive employer and securing jobs. Digitalisation, quality, processes and innovation are also important cornerstones of the merger. Together, the aim is to utilise potential in order to offer customers the best quality with high productivity.

A dedicated smartphone app already enables the digital processing of construction sites for customers. This gives employees on site full transparency and clarity about the necessary work steps. The app is used to create a real-time overview of the current status of a construction site, which is then approved step by step by the site manager, while at the same time ensuring the challenge of seamless documentation.

The merger will not result in any changes to order processing for customers and partners. The companies will remain in place and continue to operate independently, with the same contact partners.
