Training & knowledge exchange

Focus on effective solutions for construction site problems

At the beginning of September, tile laying specialists, site managers and practitioners from our group of companies met at the Mauthausen site for a practical training course. In the theoretical part, current standards and resolutions were discussed in detail to ensure that all participants were familiar with the latest standards. Topics included maintenance joints, hollow sound under tiles, hairline cracks, over-edges and plinth detachment - to name just a few. This theoretical content formed the basis for the subsequent practical exercises.

The practical part, in which the participants were able to actively apply various techniques to solve common construction site problems, was particularly valuable.

The central topics included:

  • Seal and repair chipped tiles
  • Filling and consolidating cavities under tiles
  • Renewing and renovating joints

Passing on knowledge from our own ranks - that's what we believe in: By combining theory and practice, the participants gained valuable knowledge that they can integrate directly into their day-to-day work on the construction site. The exchange of knowledge among the experts and the focus on practical solutions contributed significantly to the deepening of construction site expertise.

This practice-oriented training not only strengthened the know-how of the specialists, but also contributed to the optimisation of construction site service and maintenance - two important topics for long-term quality assurance in tile laying.

Thanks to all participants for the lively exchange! #bettertogether
