Data protection & cookies
The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection, provided that there is no legal obligation to retain data. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, please contact us. Of course, you can also lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
Here we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website:
Access data/logfiles
We (or our web space provider) collect data about every access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes, among other things: Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page) and the requesting provider. Your IP address is stored on the web server in anonymised form in the log files without exception, so that no conclusions can be drawn from website visits to specific IP addresses.
We only use the log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimisation of the website. However, we reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.
Use of Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage and do not contain any personal data. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.
Cookies are set both by our website and - if you consent to this - by third-party technologies. When you access our website, we give you the option of choosing whether only functional cookies or also third-party cookies (categorised) are permitted in the browser. This decision is saved for a maximum of one year - then you can make the selection again.
Depending on your consent, the following cookies are used on our website:

In addition, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies (especially from third-party providers) and you only allow this in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Use of Google Analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.
Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.
The following data is recorded during your visit to the website:
- Pages accessed
- Orders including turnover and products ordered
- The achievement of "website goals" (e.g. contact enquiries and newsletter registrations)
- Your behaviour on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scrolling behaviour)
- Your approximate location (country and city)
- Your IP address (in abbreviated form, so that no clear assignment is possible)
- Technical information such as browser, internet provider, end device and screen resolution
- Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us)
Further information:
- Personal data such as name, address or contact details are never transmitted to Google Analytics.
- The collection of precise location and position data in Google Analytics has been deactivated
This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of protection under data protection law cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.
Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future visits to the website.
The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to analyse pseudonymous user profiles. Data in Google Analytics is processed using artificial intelligence. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.
If you do not agree with the recording, you can cancel it with the one-time installation of the Browser add-ons for deactivating Google Analytics (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) or by rejecting cookies via our cookie settings dialogue.
